It’s recently come to our attention that TextMyJournal isn’t working like we’d hoped.
Like, at all.
We’re really sorry.
And also really embarrassed. This is 100% NOT the way a business should run, and we totally own that.
We’re also working REALLY hard to fix it as fast as possible.
We care about you and are grateful for everything you’ve done to support us. We trust you too.
So, here’s what’s going on…
First… We hired a great developer just over a year ago, and then we totally lost connection. We’re actually really worried about him. If anyone knows a teacher and developer named Tom Ainsworth in England (we know, not a lot of detail…), can you send us an email? We’re genuinely worried about him and his family.
Next, we’ve refunded every charge we’ve processed this year. There’s no reason you should be paying for a broken product. We’re working on getting it fixed, but in the meantime, you should see those refunds processed within 2 weeks.
Ok, now that the yucky stuff is out of the way, here’sthe good stuff….
We’ve hired an amazing new developer, who is working at lightning speed to get TextMyJournal running like we dreamed again. We’re really excited, and look forward to updating you soon.
We’re revisiting our pricing model, so you should see a discounted cost in the very near future.
Additionally, we’re making some staffing changes, so please be patient as we work out the details on our end. We’re excited to be back in full functionality very soon.
Ok, that wasn’t too bad was it?
(If you need us, we’ll be eating Ben & Jerry’s out of the carton underneath our desk…)
